January 2018 Lifestyle Letter

My Dear Friends,

It is a gray day…I am writing to you cozied up by the warm fire in my living room.  Last week it was 90 degrees. Change…all good.

My Dear Readers, it is time for me to say good bye as your publisher. It has been a sweet pleasure and an honor to bring Carlsbad Lifestyle to you these past two years.  What a fantastic city with such incredible people.  It has been a true joy. Thank you.  

I would like to introduce you to your new Publisher, Tom Webster. He is already a dear friend and someone I hold in very high regard.  I know that you will appreciate his incredible professionalism and expertise. I am pleased to be remaining on the team to assist.

Another quick note, due to the transition, our Reader’s Choice has been postponed with nominations reopening in March and voting in April.

As we start the New Year, our personal well-being is on many of our minds. Carlsbad Lifestyle has a jam-packed Health and Wellness edition for you. Start the New Year by learning new ways to reduce weight, stress, pain and even get some answers to questions of fertility!

Our feature story tells the tale of a local family who had not only overcome unspeakable tragedy, but has taken their grief and new life vision to create one of North County’s premier non-profits. The Mitchell Thorp Foundation continues to bless countless families whose children have been diagnosed with a life-threatening illnesses. Read on to learn of this remarkable love and commitment of this amazing couple and their foundation.
