Agua Hedionda Lagoon Foundation Annual Gala

The Agua Hedionda Lagoon Foundation held their annual gala “Discovery Gala 2017 – Clue, The Mysteries of Agua” on July 15 at the Sheraton Carlsbad Resort & Spa. Guests enjoyed the night of clues and kindness. Mitchell Thorp Annual Pillars of Hope Tennis Smash

The Mitchell Thorp Foundation partnered with San Diego Aviators WTT for the Annual Pillars of Hope Tennis Smash, co-chaired by George and Sherryl Jackson, on July 16 at Omni La Costa Resort and Spa. Carlsbad Educational Foundation Supports Music!

The Carlsbad Educational Foundation (CEF) Board recently approved grant funding for Carlsbad Unified School District’s music programs in the first semester of the 2017-18 school year. The projected cost is between $250,000-$300,000 for the school year. This grant provides each elementary school the opportunity to offer 45 minutes of weekly music instruction to every student.
